Here you can admire birds such as: Black-bellied Sandgrouse, Crowned Sandgrouse, Cream-coloured Courser, Temminck's Lark, Lesser Short-toed Lark, Thick-billed Lark, Red-rumped Wheatear, Mourning Wheatear, Isabelline Wheatear, White-crowned Wheatear, Black Wheatear, Desert Wheatear, Southern Grey Shrike and Trumpeter Finch.
The most sought-after bird species are Bonelli's Eagle, Common Kingfisher, Red-rumped Swallow, Eurasian Crag Martin, Blue Rock Thrush, Grey Wagtail and Dartford Warbler.
The Valley of the Birds is located on the Tagdilt track, east of Boumalne Dadès, in a steppe-like area. To get there, take the N10, leave Boumalne Dades heading east and after 650 metres, turn right onto a small unsurfaced road. We advise you to drive slowly in this area.
